Our mission - bike-flash

Our approach is based on the principle of dialog. We believe that communication between different road users is crucial to preventing accidents and increasing trust on the road. That is why we have developed an innovative dialog display that enables truck drivers and cyclists to communicate with each other and identify potential dangers at an early stage.

If the bike-flash is used across the board, we will be holding training sessions in schools and kindergartens with our mascot Willi Winkel. These training sessions are designed to educate children about the dangers of blind spots and teach them how to behave safely in traffic.

The history of bike-flash:
A look back, two steps forward.

Hand on heart: a few years ago, we presented a system that was designed to make road traffic safer and save lives. We were full of hope and conviction that our technology would make a significant contribution to road safety. But the reality turned out to be more challenging than expected. Despite our best efforts, great media coverage, supporters from politics and two installed systems in Garbsen and at the Amazon logistics center in Gera, our product at the time did not make it into mass production. Corona stopped everything!

Quitting was and is not an option for us, so we seized the opportunity to develop something better.

The bike-flash: Developed from experience and passion

The result: the new bike-flash is the logical and technically mature further development that can also be used completely independently of traffic light systems. It is more compact, much easier to install and significantly cheaper than its predecessor. The results of the long-term test under various weather conditions such as cold, snow, rain or blinding sunlight and in all possible traffic situations are absolutely convincing. With this tailwind, we are more determined than ever to press ahead with our mission.

Let's walk the road together, because at the end of the day, only one thing counts: the safety and well-being of all road users.
